1. There will be one referee and four judges per ring or one referee and two judges per ring.

2. The match will be two running minutes.

3. The first person to reach a three point advantage will win whether time has expired or not. If time expires. the person with more points will be declared the winner.

4. In the case of a tie or no score at the end of the match. the match will go into sudden death overtime. sudden death will last two minutes with the first person to score declared the winner. If there is no score at the end of the overtime, the winner will be decided by the referee and judge.

5. Scoring point system
A. 1 point - The head, neck, waist, wrist, thigh slicing or striking technique, poking technique to the abdomen
B. 2 point - Double slicing or striking techniques to the point area.

6. Warnings for
A. Holding, biting, or scratching.
B. Intentionally avoiding contact
C. Stepping of the ring
D. Falling down or turning back to opponent - intentionally or not
Note: Two consecutive Warning for the same offense may cause loss of a point. The Referee makes the final decision. A contestant who loses two points by disobeying the rules will be disqualified. All free fighting will be conducted in an atmosphere of good sportsmanship. courtesy and friendship.

7. Deductions for
A. Attacking face and body with punch or kick
B. Butting
C. Attacking after break.
D. Attacking fallen opponent.
E. Violent remarks.
F. Walking out of end line.
G. Dropping a sword.

8. Disqualification for :
A. Disobeying referee
B. Intentionally disabling an opponent.
C. Drawing blood.
D. Repeated attack to the weak area.
E. Hand contack to face causing injury.
F. Throw a sword down intentionally.

Forms(Hyung)
Forms will be judged on the following :
A. Grace and balance
B. Timing of movements.
C. Tension/relaxation at critical times.
D. Yelling and attitude.
E. Performed with realism.
F. From performed should be representative of your
rank.
G. Position. pattern and view.

Slicing(Begi)
Slicing will be judged on the following :
1. Technique.
2. Speed
3. Power.
4. Accuracy.
5. Yelling.
